[edit] General Information

Originally known as Tunaria, Antonica is the largest continent on Norrath; the only land mass larger is Luclin, which isn't really a continent so much as a moon. The continent as a whole is a part of the old world, although it has been expanded time and time again, by Legacy of Ykesha, Dragons of Norrath, Depths of Darkhollow, Prophecy of Ro, The Serpent's Spine, and The Buried Sea.

[edit] Zones

Antonica is divided into five sections; one, the north central portion, is the entirety of The Serpent's Spine expansion and is covered in that expansion's article. The other four are as follows:

[edit] Northeast

There is a large amount of lore in northeast Antonica. Aside from the opening of the Broodlands with the Dragons of Norrath expansion, and the explosion of Corathus Creep into Nektulos Forest with Depths of Darkhollow, the cities of Neriak, Rivervale, and Freeport are found up here. Plus the dungeons of Najena and Befallen, and Nagafen's Lair.

[edit] Cities

Freeport - this massive city, originally divided into three zones (consolidated down to two - East Freeport and West Freeport - when it was revamped with the release of Prophecy of Ro), is called home by Humans and Half Elves alike. When Mayong Mistmoore began wreaking havoc upon the Pantheon, Druzzil Ro and Sullon Zek both created beacons by which mortals can enter their planes in this city.

Highhold Keep - although used more by players of evil race as a means of experience in their 30s, this zone is technically a Human city, complete with vendors and bankers. This zone is technically found in North Central Antonica, but is not a part of The Serpent's Spine expansion.

Neriak - divided into three zones (Neriak Commons, Neriak Foreign Quarter, and Neriak Third Gate), this dark, cavernous city is home to the Tier`Dal, Dark Elves of Norrath. The Trolls of Grobb also found refuge within this city, when the Guktan Frogloks took over their home and exiled them; they have since returned.

Rivervale - this small, happy city is home to the Halflings of Norrath. Sandwiched between the bright Misty Thicket and the dark Kithicor Forest, young Halflings need to be careful where they roam.
