Ashengate, Reliquary of the Scale (Ashengate, or simply AG, for short) is one of the two end-game zones of The Serpent's Spine.
[edit] Raids
Raids in Ashengate all require faction, there are two factions that you need to gain to raid in various parts of the zone. To raid in the east wing, you need Infiltrators and Traitors of Ashengate faction at ally level and must have completed the task The Pretender. To raid in the west wing, you need Scholars of Solusek faction at ally level and must have completed the task Severing the Strings. To raid in the North wing, you need both of those factions at ally level. Both The Pretender and Severing the Strings require kindly faction level of their respective factions and take place within Vergalid's End the raid instance. It is advised you get both of these tasks before raiding Vergalid.
As long as a player has ally faction for the correct wing that's being raided, they can be pushed into the zone with the 85% rule. Most bosses in the raid instances will drop a Mark of Vergalid which serves as a bagflag for bypassing the required tasks.
In addition to factions, the person requesting the raid must have completed Ashengate raid access progression quests.

To participate in North Ashengate raids, you must have beaten the final encounter in both the East and West raid instances, or get in through the 85% rule.
