Bagflag
From EQ KnowledgePit
[edit] General Information
Originally Backflagging was the process of a guild/raiding organization re-doing content they had already beaten and progressed passed in order to flag/key newer members to have access to the content the guild/raiding organization was currently doing.
In some patch around the Gates of Discord or Omens of War era, Sony added a feature that is a shortcut to backflagging, which came to be known as bagflagging. This feature allowed players that were pushed into a zone that they are not flagged for to loot an item that flags them for that zone. This process sometimes included additional quest steps. With this, guilds were able to avoid the (sometimes very long) backflagging process.
[edit] Zones
Included in the list of zones that can be bagflagged:
- Eryslai, the Kingdom of Wind - bagflags are received by hailing the Projection that spawns after Xegony the Queen of Air dies.
- Doomfire, the Burning Lands - bagflags are received by hailing the Projection that spawns after Fennin Ro the Tyrant of Fire dies.
- Reef of Coirnav - bagflags are received by hailing the Projection that spawns after Coirnav the Avatar of Water dies.
- Vegarlson, the Earthen Badlands - bagflags are received by hailing the Projection that spawns after The Avatar of Earth, found in Ragrax, Stronghold of the Twelve, dies.

- Qvic, Prayer Grounds of Calling - The bagflag for this zone is a quest which includes a drop from one of the 2 in-zone raid mobs, Cynosure Kvanjji or Iqthinxa Karnkvi (the "Zoo"). It should be noted that the Qvic bagflag does count towards players' Txevu flags, when you hail to get the Splinter of the High Temple in Inktu`Ta or upon zoning to get the Qvic flag (whichever occurs last) if you do not have the More than one exact match found for "Sliver of the High Temple"; please use the item search and identify the item by ID and/or the Fragment of the High Temple, you will receive whichever one(s) you might be missing.
- Anguish, the Fallen Palace - Seal: Mastery of All is dropped by every boss in the zone.
- Demi-Plane of Blood - Drop of Accursed Blood is dropped by tier 2 bosses, along with Hatchet the Torturer and Sanguimanus the Redfang.
- Ashengate, Reliquary of the Scale (raids) - Mark of Vergalid is dropped by most of the bosses in the raid instances
