[edit] From the Manual
| “ | Followers of Bristlebane believe in having fun, at the expense of nearly all else. Bards, Rogues, jesters, gamblers and gypsies are all typical followers. They are almost always very charming, clever and witty, traits which all Bristlebane followers should strive to have. Mischief in all its forms is encouraged. Practical jokes are performed as if they are the highest of rituals. Very few of Bristlebane's followers are outright wicked in their desires, but it is best to keep at least one eye on your purse if they are about. And never let one deal you a hand of King's Court. | ” |

[edit] Trivia
When the Plane of Mischief was first released with the Scars of Velious, Bristlebane was the "boss" of the zone, though not specifically a raid mob. He was eventually removed from the zone for unknown reasons. In fact, during Velious, a level 59 Monk named Irontaail of the Povar server was able to solo (sort of) Bristlebane.
At the time, he only hit for 139 and backstabbed for 471+. He would despawn immediately when aggro was dropped, so the entire fight consisted of kiting him while regenning and mending. The fight was sped up by a druid joining him to help out and still took over 5 hours, the estimate for killing him without the Druid's help was ~16 hours.
