Currency in Everquest is the general form of settling debts and transactions in Everquest. Currency is made up of four denominations: Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Copper.

Without any bags which reduce coin weight (which are currently in an unknown state) all currency weighs 1/40th or 0.025 of a "stone" (the generic unit of weight in EQ). In other words, 40 coins will increase your weight by 1.

There are a number of forms of alternate currency in EverQuest; beginning with the Lost Dungeons of Norrath's adventure points, several expansions have added new currencies to the game:

• Adventure Points - added with Lost Dungeons of Norrath
• Ebon and Radiant Crystals - added with Dragons of Norrath
• Doubloons, Orux, Phosphites, and Phophenes - added with The Buried Sea
