Cursed Obsidian Faycite

The Cursed Obsidian Faycite is an augmentation that is acquired by combining eight smaller augs, which are obtained by completing certain quests. It is one of many such "collection" quests which are featured extensively throughout the Secrets of Faydwer expansion, such as Bloodmoon Taxidermy and the Model XLII Spatial Temporal Oculus. It should be noted that although this is a quest conceptually, there is no task that goes along with it, again like the previously mentioned quests. Along the same lines, players complete several tasks to acquire the components, then combine them in a container purchased by the camp's supplier.

This quest spans the breadth of tasks offered by the Bertoxxulous' Chosen faction in Hills of Shade. Over the course of completing the tasks, most players will end up with ally or nearly ally faction. The tasks can be completed in any order, and each task's reward is actually an equippable aug, though with very low stats.

The pieces needed are as follows:

• Small Obsidian Faycite Shard
• Dark Obsidian Faycite Shard
• Chipped Obsidian Faycite Shard
• Dull Obsidian Faycite Shard
• Deep Obsidian Faycite Shard
• Marred Obsidian Faycite Shard
• Scratched Obsidian Faycite Shard
• Splintered Obsidian Faycite Shard

These pieces are then combined in an Obsidian Faycite Recrystalizer, purchasable from Lanika Shadestepper, the Supplier for Bertoxxulous' Chosen, at a faction level of indifferent or higher. The result is Cursed Obsidian Faycite.
