Elemental

Elementals can be found in all corners of Norrath. These are summoned creatures that mindlessly obey their master. Some are simply aberrations brought into the world which serve no master, these will generally mindlessly attack anyone they see.
An important thing to remember is that the only weapons that will damage elementals are weapons which are tagged MAGIC.
Magicians are well known for their use of elementals as pets.

Air elementals generally have higher defenses and avoidance. This is not always true.

Almost all Fire Elementals have an innate Damage Shield and very frequently proc a fire based DD.
[edit] Earth
Earth elementals frequently have a proc that will root their target.
[edit] Water
Water elementals are frequently Rogues, with the highest DPS out of all the elementals due to the ability to Backstab.
