This task is fairly long and requires 27 drops, if you have multiple people within a group doing this task, it could take quite a while. Fortunately, the part that is required en masse often drops two at a time.

This quest is given by Zhureni at location (-1500, 1000) in the Drakkin outpost in Sunderock Springs. It is only available after finishing his previous task, Scrubbing the Statues. Once completed it can not be repeated until you go through all of Zhureni's tasks.

At this point you are assigned the task Evidence of Corruption.
[edit] Suggested Concurrent Tasks
- Children of Flame OR Under Pressure - Whichever step you're on is completable while doing this task
- Preferably Dark Guardians of Ashengate as that requires quite a few kills and waiting on respawns. It's ideal to do both of these at the same time. If you're not on that step, then Slicing Clay OR A Brim Task will be doable while you're doing this one.
[edit] Task Objectives
The first four steps are available immediately, as you finish those, the corresponding "hand in" step becomes available. You can collect everything except the Smoldering Ashes (which is of course the bottleneck) before getting this task.
All items are found in the west wing of Ashengate. Nothing in this task is particularly difficult other than collecting a large number of items.
[edit] Loot 20 Smoldering Ashes
Smoldering Ashes can drop from almost any NPC in the west wing. Sometimes two at a time. It's a fairly common drop, but you need a lot of them.
[edit] Collect 3 Lava Ooze Glands
Lava Ooze Glands can drop from any ooze in the west wing. The drop rate is about 50%.
[edit] Collect 3 Igneous Cairn Stones
Igneous Cairn Stones can drop from any golem model in the west wing. The drop rate is about 50%.
[edit] Collect 1 Vial of Burning Liquid
A Vial of Burning Liquid can be dropped by just about anything that's "fire" related, this includes elementals, lava oozes, and drakes. It's fairly rare, but you'll most likely get one before you're done with everything else in the task.
[edit] Deliver 3 Lava Ooze Glands to Zhureni
Once all items are collected, return to Zhureni in Sunderock Springs.
Turn in the Lava Ooze Glands.
[edit] Deliver 3 Igneous Cairn Stones to Zhureni
Turn in the Igneous Cairn Stones.
[edit] Deliver 1 Vial of Burning Liquid to Zhureni
Turn in the Vial of Burning Liquid.
