[edit] General Information
This mission is just a simple faction/Orux mission; first in the arc of three from Flora Venloe. It is generally considered very easy; it does not take long, and is popular when players are farming just for experience.
[edit] Quest Information
This mission can be requested from Flora Venloe, who can be found at location (650, 660, -27) in Katta Castrum, a little bit northwest of the pyramid.

Flora Venloe says 'Hello Floppie. I assume you're the one that Parvus sent to assist me with the Thalassius situation? I'm afraid there's not much to tell yet. Just inconclusive reports of odd happenings with the kedge inside. We're looking for [evidence] of anything the kedge extremist might be up to.' You say, 'What sort of evidence?' Flora Venloe says 'I can't quite put my finger on it, but there is something going on in Thalassius. We have received reports of the kedge being even more secretive than usual, and strange figures have been seen entering and leaving the habitat. The kedge hold many secrets, and we must find evidence of what could be going on over there. It would be most unpleasant to hold suspicions or accuse without some proof of wrongdoing. Please look into it!' | ” |

A dialog window will be displayed, asking which mission your group desires. There are a total of three options. Evidence of Unity is the first option, and can be requested by anybody. If you have completed Evidence of Unity, you can request Sea Serpents; likewise, if you've completed Sea Serpents, you can request The Hydromancer.
After getting the mission, players can zone into the instance by stepping on the teleportation pad at (-1150, -4800, -506) in Katta Castrum, and pressing Yes in the dialog window that is displayed.

[edit] Quest Walkthrough
In this mission, the group must zone into the Thalassius instance via the portal in Katta Castrum, choosing 'yes when asked whether or not to zone into the instanced version; doing so will complete the first objective. After zoning in, the party needs to enter the structure to the north. Once somebody steps into the first large room, the second objective will be completed.
Make a right (east) from this large room. Along your way down, collect Sneaky Shissar Scales - they drop uncommonly from any mob in the instance. Collecting five of these will complete the third objective. The room you're looking for is shaped like an upside-down T; when you enter, it will be a library. In this library there are two named mobs; Brinor Schmidtzen and Patrikus Grimor, among a bunch of trash mobs. Patrikus drops Encoded Message, and Brinor drops Kedge Secrets; both of which, when looted, will complete their respective objectives.
Now the only thing left to do is to take the items back to Flora. Once all the items are turned in, the final objective, Speak with Flora Venloe will open. Hail her and follow the dialog (needed) to complete the mission.
