Faydwer is the eastern continent of Old World, this continent contains homes for most of the typical fantasy races; Wood Elves, High Elves, Dwarves, Gnomes. Out of the three old world continents, it is in the middle in terms of size; Larger than Odus, but smaller than Antonica.

[edit] Cities
Ak`Anon - the small mining city in the Steamfont Mountains, the Gnomes call this place home. This contains everything that a young Gnome needs; guild halls for all four arcane casters and other classes that Gnomes can be, vendors, banks, etc.
Felwithe - split into two zones, North and South Felwithe, this zone is home to the great arcane race of elves, the High Elves. North Felwithe contains most of what players need; vendors and a bank, along with guild halls for Warriors, Paladins, and Clerics. South Felwithe is more of the arcane section of Felwithe, containing guild halls for Enchanters, Magicians, and Wizards.
Kaladim - the deep mining city of the Dwarves, this town is split into two zones North and South Kaladim. This low-ceilinged town has everyone one would expect; vendors, quests, plus the North Kaladim bank.

Kelethin - a great village in the trees, the Wood Elves and some Half Elves call this place home. It is not separated into its own zone, however; it is simply placed in the treetops of Greater Faydark. Many new players used to have profound trouble navigating Kelethin; however, with the addition of in-game maps, this issue is very much remedied. Many new players also meet their first deaths falling off of Kelethin.
[edit] Outdoor Zones
Butcherblock Mountains - the large mountain range on the western coast of Faydwer, this zone is an effective zone for players level 1-15 or so. In particular, this zone is a playground for young Dwarves. In the northwest corner of the zone, players can find a set of docks, with boats leading to Ocean of Tears and Timorous Deep. There is also a Wayfarers' Brotherhood camp found in the southeast region of the zone.
Dagnor's Cauldron - a great lake in the middle of a range of rocky hills, this zone can be found in the southwest corner of Faydwer. Within, players can find Kedge Keep, a watery dungeon. Less notably, the entrance to Estate of Unrest can be found in this zone.
Greater Faydark - the western portion of the great forest of Faydwer, this zone contains the Faydwer spires to Luclin, along with Felwithe and Clan Crushbone. Kelethin is located in the north central portion of this zone. This zone is a playground for young players of good alignment.
Lesser Faydark - the eastern portion of Faydwer's great forest, this zone is considerably higher-level than Greater Faydark. This zone is the Gnomes' route from Ak`Anon to the rest of Norrath. It also contains the entrances to Castle Mistmoore and the Mistmoore Catacombs series of Lost Dungeons of Norrath adventures.
Steamfont Mountains - a playground for young Gnomes, this zone contains all sorts of attractions. The minotaur caves in the northeast portion tell some of the story of Meldrath the Malignant, which is a highly interesting branch of EQ lore.
[edit] Dungeons
Castle Mistmoore - a dark castle, full of traps, vampires, gargoyles, and other manner of evil beast, this zone can be found in the southwestern region of Lesser Faydark. Mayong Mistmoore can no longer be found within this zone; he has moved to wreak havoc upon Norrath and the Pantheon from elsewhere....
Clan Crushbone - home of the Crushbone orcs, this zone is good for players from level 10-20 or so. Old players can still reminisce about the trains of Ambassador DVinn and Retlon Brenclog to the zone-in.
Estate of Unrest - a great manor off of Dagnor's Cauldron, this zone is filled with all sorts of undead; zombies, skeletons, ghouls, even a higher-level Lich in one of the bedrooms. There is an instanced version of this zone containing a variable-level quest.
Kedge Keep - A great underwater fortress, this zone contains pieces for several epic quests.
