The cultural center of Norrath, Freeport is the port city on Antonica which connects it to Faydwer. The current incarnation consists of West Freeport and East Freeport.

Contains many points of interest including a Translocator Gnome and a portal to Devastation.

This part of Freeport was merged with East and West when the city was revamped as part of the Prophecy of Ro expansion. Formerly it contained the bank as well as... TBD

In EQ2, Freeport is the starting city for "evil" characters and consists of North, South, East and West Freeport zones as well as 6 sub-districts and four decaying ruins where new characters can go to hunt.
