[edit] General Information
Frostcrypt, Throne of the Shade King (Frostcrypt, or simply FC, for short) is one of the two end-game zones of The Serpent's Spine.
[edit] Raids
Raids in Frostcrypt all require faction, all players wishing to enter any Frostcrypt raids must have ally standing with Wraithguard Leadership. As long as a player has ally faction, they can be pushed into any raids without having the required missions done.
In order to participate in Frostcrypt raids without being pushed, players must complete all of the following tasks:
- Intercepted Correspondence - group
- Lost Letter - group
- Confession - group
- Kill Kangur - 24-man raid
- Udengar the Traitor - 54-man raid
- Speak with the King - 54-man raid
In addition, to request the raids, the raid leader must have completed the Bypass Heimgul quest.
In addition, Frostcrypt raids are broken down into two instances.
[edit] First raid instance
Also called FC1 (or Frostcrypt 1), this instance contains 6 events. The first four listed are "mini events" which drop one raid augment and one group augment that is also found in the static version of the zones. The mini events drop three Glowing Obsidian Runes each. The main events (Hearol and Grenwald) each drop two molds, two loot items, two runes and three Mark of Valdeholms which serves as a backflag to all the pre-requisite events.
- Shadow Selves
- Three Brothers
- Overwhelming Numbers
- Shades of Calm
- Hearol the Tactician
- Lorekeeper Grenwald
[edit] Second raid instance
Also called FC2 (or Frostcrpyt 2) this instance contains five events including the final boss of the giant side of the expansion. Each boss, in addition to his loot table, drops Mark of Frostcrypts which count as the backflag from defeating the first FC instance.
- The Sleepless Guard
- Wulfnor the Gladiator
- Fridleif, Master Warcraft
- Harfange the Black
- Beltron, the Shade King
[edit] Static Zone
The static version of Frostcrypt is a level 75+ group zone consisting primarily of giant shades.
