This quest is is for any lower level character. You must deliver a crate of carrots to a local tavern for use in the mayor's favorite stew.

Reebo Leafsway

Crate of Carrots

This quest is initiated by speaking to Reebo Leafsway. He can be found in Rivervale, usually wandering in the Jumjum field in front of the druid hall (Location: -133.19, -419.81, -9.80). Hail him and he will give you the following dialogue:

“	You say, 'Hail, Reebo Leafsway' Reebo say, 'Greetings and salutations! My name is Reebo Leafsway, a loyal druid of [Karana]. I am in charge of helping young druids who wish to get started down the [trail of Karana’s wisdom]. I also do my share of tending the [crops].' You say, 'I am a loyal follower of Karana who wishes to get started on the trail of Karana's wisdom by tending to the crops.' Reebo resonds, 'Good. First you should learn that Karana’s work is just that, work. Karana provides us with the tools but is is by the sweat of our brows that we prosper. Common sense and hard work are two things that are highly prized by our people. Time for you sweat young one. Take this crate over to Blinza Toepopal in the Fool’s Gold. They need our finest carrots for Mayor Grubb’s stew. When you return I will teach you a lesson of the Rainkeeper.'	”

He will provide you with a crate of carrots to bring to Blinza Toepopal at the Fool's Gold tavern.

Location: In the halfling city Rivervale, at the Fools's Gold tavern behind the bar on the first level (-44.02, -169.62, 2.19)
Dialogue: Give Blinza Toepopal the crate from Reebo and she will respond as follows:

Blinza Toepopal

“	Blinza Toepopal says, 'What are these?! I am trying to make stew for the mayor and you bring me ROTTEN CARROTS?! Have you no sense?? Take these bak to Reebo. Your faction standing with Deeppockets got worse. Your faction standing with the Circle of Unseen Hands got worse. Your faction standing with the Merchants of Rivervale got better. Your faction standing with the Coalition of Tradefolk Underground got worse. Your faction standing with Carson McCabe got worse. .'	”

You must return to Reebo and get a crate of fresh carrots. Give him the crate of rotten carrots and he will respond by saying:

“	Reebo Leafsway says, 'These carrots are rotten. They were rotten when I gave them to you. Why would you waste time and energy on such a fool’s errand? Because I asked you to. Many, even those you trust, will ask you to do things which you should not. Use the common sense that Karana has blessed you with to know which tasks can benefit our people and which could harm them. Learn this lesson well. You will need it if you plan adventure beyond the vale. Now take these fresh carrots to Blinza and apologize for your error. You may keep the donation she gives you as payment..	”

He will give you a new crate, this time of fresh carrots. Bring it to Blinza and give it to her. She will respond as follows:

“	Blinza says, 'Well it is about time! The mayor gets very upset if he does not have the freshest of carrots in his stew. Here is the money for carrots. Be off with you. Now where the heck did [Jillin] go? You faction standing with Deeppockets got better. You faction standing with the Circle of Unseen Hands got better. You faction standing with the Merchants of Rivervale got worse. You faction standing with the Coalition of Tradefolk Underground got better. You faction standing with Carson McCabe got better. You gain experience!! You receive 4 copper from Blinza Toepopal.	”

If you wish, you can ask Blinza about Jillin to begin a new quest called Jillin's Stew.
