The term screenshot (also known as a screencap or screeny) refers to a still-life picture of one's EverQuest screen. The default key to take a screenshot in the EverQuest client is the minus (-) key on the numpad. This can be changed in the game's keyboard options.

Screenshots are useful for the purposes of, for example; quickly recording chat, or taking a guild photo with the big raid mob's corpse. The list, naturally, goes on.
