This task is given by Y`surria the Elder at location (375, -905) in the dragon glade of Crescent Reach. This task can only be obtained after completing The Sanctity of the Scale.

The task description is as follows:
Though your words brought Y`Ssuria comfort, they mean little to her compared to the sight of the artifact itself. Now that you have tempted her with your titillating tale, she has asked you to embark on a second task. See Merchant Jhenner in Crescent Reach to procure the means to sketch the chamber housing Veeshan's scale. You will need some basic sketching tools and a blank canvas. The act of sketching will require your undivided attention for some time, so you may wish to bring friends to 'eliminate' unwanted distractions.

Exact name of stage needed
Basically, what you need to do is sketch the scale at the same place you visited in The Sanctity of the Scale. To do this, you need to find Merchant Jhenner on the second floor of Crescent Reach at location (-1400, -1550) and buy a Set of Sketching Tools and a Blank Canvas. There are two types of sketching tools, you want the cheaper one that costs just less than 500pp.
Once you have the sketching tools and canvas, head back to the north wing of Ashengate on the precipice overlooking the scale. If you're not killing the guardians, you'll need to make sure you're on the very edge and out of aggro range. When you're safe, equip the sketching tools in your Primary Slot and right-click them. This will start a one minute casting time spell. When it finishes casting without interruption, your canvas will change into a sketch of some sort and the task stage will update.

Head back to Crescent Reach and turn in the sketch to Y`surria the Elder to complete the task.
At this point you complete the quest and...
Your faction standing with Infiltrators and Traitors of Ashengate got better.
This allows you to obtain the final task in the series: The Ecstasy of Relief.
