[edit] General Information

This mission is the first in the arc of five to access the Bloodmoon Keep instanced raids; completing it unlocks Walking into Spider Webs. This is a pretty simple one. In addition to the Fang Breakers faction and progression toward those raids, the mission also yields a Crusty Were-Orc Claw, which is used in The Ancient Faycite Resonance Barrier.

In addition to all this, completing the first two tasks in the arc (this and Walking into Spider Webs) opens two 12-man raids which are needed for the Ancient Faycite quest.

[edit] Quest Information

This mission can be requested from Larquin Fangbreaker, at location (-1400, -3200, 700) - in the Fang Breakers camp in Loping Plains; near the zone line to Steamfont Mountains. Hail him and follow the dialog: (needed)

[edit] Task Description

Larquin Fangbreaker has tasked you to kill several of the wereorcs and their worg minions in Bloodmoon Keep. He has also asked that you steal a crate of wolf harnesses from the wolfmaster.

    [edit] Quest Walkthrough

    [edit] Enter Bloodmoon Keep

After requesting the mission from Larquin, the first step is to zone into the instanced version of Bloodmoon Keep. The entrance can be found at location (1790, 100, 210); click on the door and select Yes when asked if you want to zone into the instanced version. When one person enters the Keep, the next three steps unlock in the task window.

[edit] Kill Bloodmoon Orcs and Worgs

Once everybody is zoned in and ready to go, start pulling mobs from the eastern doorway. There will be lots of orcs; then the hallway will open up into the worg stable. Just keep plugging along on orcs and worgs. The goals simply state 15 of each need to be killed; they don't have to be done in any particular order or anything.

    [edit] Collect Wolf Harnesses

Down in the worg stables, there will be equipment crates; in each of these crates can be found one Bloodmoon Wolf Harness. Once somebody in the group has five of these, you're ready to head back out.

There are two crates in the first pen, two crates in the second pen, and two crates in the third smaller pen. By the time you reach the third pen you should easily have killed more than enough orcs and worgs for the other updates. If you have someone who can sneak in or shed aggro, they may be able to brute force their way to the third pen and loot a harness without having to clear all the way there.

[edit] Deliver 5 Bloodmoon Wolf Harnesses to Larquin Fangbreaker

Once you've got all 15 orcs and 15 worgs dead, and the five harnesses collected, whoever looted the harnesses needs to take them back to Larquin. He can be found in the same place; at location (-1400, -3200, 700), in the Fang Breakers camp in Loping Plains. Once you turn the fifth one in, the mission will complete, and Larquin will yield the following dialog:

Your task 'The Bloodmoon' has been updated.

Larquin Fangbreaker says, 'Well done, it seems you may have what it takes to join the fangbreakers. I'm getting ahead of myself though. Tell me more about these [spiders].'

Your faction standing with Fang Breakers got better.

You have successfully been granted your reward for: The Bloodmoon

Following the dialog from there will lead into the next mission in the arc, Walking into Spider Webs.
