[edit] Images
There's no need to upload smaller images - the larger your upload, the better. MediaWiki can automatically do serverside image resizing if you don't want the full-sized image in your page - check out Rikkukin the Defender and click on the image.
Thanks! I'll remember that for next time. This is a lot more work than I thought! It's been interesting to learn how to post a Wiki though. I still have some more work to finish it though!
Yeah, it's a lot more than I thought it would be too ;)
[edit] Question
Is there some way to specify how large the file will be on the Wikipage or will it just automatically set it to fit on the page?
If you call an image as [[Image:Whatever.jpg]], it will just be the size of the file. If, however, you call an image as (for instance) [[Image:Whatever.jpg|250px]], it will resize the image (be it shrink or grow) so that it is 250 pixels horizontally - it will automatically resize it vertically in order to keep the aspect ratio. Also, I might suggest using JPEG compression for screenshots, rather than GIF ;) Floppie 14:45, 12 August 2007 (EDT)
