[edit] General Information

This task starts with Donart Rithkin, found at the main Fang Breakers camp in Loping Plains. It yields some experience and faction with the Fang Breakers as well as potentially a piece for the Bloodmoon Taxidermy quest.

[edit] Quest Information

You say, 'Hail, Donart Rithkin'

Donart Rithkin says 'Hrm. What? What... you want something? I don't have [time] to help you.'

You say, 'time?'

Donart Rithkin says 'Yes. I am busy. Are you one of those [adventurers] out for glory, or just after coin for your pockets? If the latter, don't even bother me.'

You say, 'adventurers'

Donart Rithkin says 'Well, maybe you can be of some use. There are various [missions] that you can try and complete for me, if you have the stones. There is a need to [evaluate] Bloodmoon Keep, sabotage the food stores of their [worgs] and [spiders], and try and have contact with the [slaves] or the [spirits] in Bloodmoon Keep.'

You say, 'missions'

Donart Rithkin says 'That is the spirit. Come back to me when you have completed the mission.'

At this point you are presented with a list of several tasks available.

You have been assigned the task 'What do the Worgs Eat?'

[edit] Task Description

The orcs in Bloodmoon use worgs as mounts rather than horses. Worgs make superior war mounts as they are much more vicious than even the best trained horse. Go into Bloodmoon and kill their mounts. While you are there, collect a sample of the food and poison the rest. The food sample will be used to make sure that the poison continues to be effective. You will only need to poison six of their food stores. Additionally kill at least a few of their tenders.

[edit] Task Objectives

Objective Instructions Status Zone
Gather a sample of the worg food from between first and second north stall 0/1 Bloodmoon Keep

Poison the food to the south of the entrance to the worg pens 0/1 Bloodmoon Keep
Poison the food between first and second north stall 0/1 Bloodmoon Keep
Poison the food to the north side in back of the first room 0/1 Bloodmoon Keep

Kill 15 Worgs 0/15 Bloodmoon Keep
Kill 10 Bloodmoon Wolfcallers 0/10 Bloodmoon Keep
Report your progress to Donart Rithkin 0/1 Loping Plains

All stages except the final one are available immediately upon accepting this task. You are also given Worg Food Poison which is inventory clickable and has a 5 second cast time which you will use for all the "poison the food..." task updates

Note: This can be done solo by a select few classes (notably Bards), otherwise it is advised that you take a group that can kill fast with little downtime.

All task updates will come from the "worg wing" which is the eastmost door upon zoning into Bloodmoon Keep. The following map will help:

[edit] Gather a sample of the worg food from between first and second north stall

In the first room you come to in the worg wing, turn left (north) and you will see a small open crate. This is position 1 on the map above, simply left click this to collect Prepared Worg Food. This is also the crate you'll have to poison for the fourth step (between the first and second north stalls) so while you're here, go ahead and poison the crate.

[edit] Poison the food to the north of the entrance to the worg pens

This is spot 2 on the map, click the poison near some barrels along the wall.

[edit] Poison the food to the south of the entrance to the worg pens

This is spot 3 on the map, click the poison near some barrels along the wall.

[edit] Poison the food between first and second north stall

This is spot 1 on the map, the same spot where you collected the food.

[edit] Poison the food to the north side in back of the first room

This is spot 4 on the map, click the poison near some barrels along the wall.

[edit] Poison the food to the south side in back of the first room

This is spot 5 on the map, click the poison near some barrels along the wall.

[edit] Poison the food to the south in the second room

This is spot 7 on the map, click the poison near some barrels along the wall.

[edit] Poison the food to the north in the second room, deep in the corner

This is spot 6 on the map, click the poison near some barrels along the wall.

NOTE: This corner is fairly safe (one roamer) if you need to move your group into the second room in order to clear it.

[edit] Poison the food near the south stalls in the second room

This is spot 8 on the map, click the poison near some barrels near the stalls.

[edit] Poison the food to the east in the second room

This is spot 9 on the map, click the poison near some barrels along the wall.

[edit] Kill 15 Worgs

Any worg in the zone will count for this task. Worgs run faster than all orcs, so it is slightly easier to pull them out of the crowd. They do not summon, the do run when low health. You'll usually find 2-3 in each stall.

[edit] Kill 10 Bloodmoon Wolfcallers

These type of orcs roam the worg pens, though not in great numbers and you may need to wait for repops. Like the worgs, these do not summon, but they do run at low health.

[edit] Report your progress to Donart Rithkin

You say, 'Hail, Donart Rithkin'

Your task 'What do the Worgs Eat?' has been updated.

[edit] Reward

At this point you receive some experience, minor faction with Fang Breakers and potentially a piece for the Bloodmoon Taxidermy quest depending on other tasks completed.
