| akheva | Akheva Ruins | SoL | A dark, tunnel-esque zone found on the southern wall of Maiden's Eye. Contains a couple raid mobs, such as Shei Vinitras and The Itraer Vius, and A Lucid Shard (Dax) drops here. |
| arena | The Arena | Old | A great PvP arena off of Lake Rathetear. This zone was revamped during the Depths of Darkhollow era. |

| bazaar | The Bazaar | SoL | As the name suggests, this is the zone where the majority of the game's player-to-player transactions take place. Within, there is no gravity, so players can carry around as much weight as they desire without losing run speed; additionally, players can set up their characters as vendors. There are also normal NPC vendors and banks. The zone connects to The Nexus, Shadow Haven, and the Plane of Knowledge. |

| charasis | Howling Stones | RoK | Locked dungeon found within the great chasm in The Overthere; requires a Key to Charasis to enter. Split into four wings, most doors requiring a different key to open. Hand of Glory is the master key. |

| cobaltscar | Cobalt Scar | SoV | One of the zones in the western side of Velious. Mostly a rather large lake. Links to Skyshrine and Siren's Grotto, and the new Plane of Mischief has a one-way link into Cobalt Scar. Home to the aquatic dragon, Kelorek`Dar. |
| codecay | Ruins of Lxanvom | PoP | Also known as the Crypt of Decay. Found beneath the surface of the Plane of Disease; this zone is home to (and ruled over by) Bertoxxulous. |

| crystal | Crystal Caverns | SoV | A deep labyrinth of snowy caverns beneath the Eastern Wastes. Houses Ry`Gorr orcs, monstrous stalagmites, crystalline spiders (including Queen Dracnia) and other nasty creatures. Entrance is found within the Ry`Gorr fort in Eastern Wastes; exit is a stone's throw away from that fort. |
| dalnir | Crypt of Dalnir | RoK | Dungeon found in Warslik's Woods. This is the hidden tomb of Dalnir, the ancient Haggle Barron of Cabilis. Full of Kly, and their coerced minions. |
| dawnshroud | Dawnshroud Peaks | SoL | A rather large, hilly zone found in the space where Sanctus Seru, Netherbian Lair, and Maiden's Eye intersect. Greig's End can be found toward the southeast corner of the zone. The zone is decent for players in their early to late 30s. A Lucid Shard (Lor) drops here. |

| dreadlands | Dreadlands | RoK | A giant, open zone, stuffed with three different climates; grassland, tundra, and badlands. Links Firiona Vie to most of the rest of the continent. Has both Wizard and Druid spires, along with a set of great spires whose purpose is unknown. Home to Gorenaire, a great ice dragon. Karnor's Castle is in the middle of the zone, in the badlands portion. |

Contains the portal into Sleeper's Tomb, the portal to Crystal Caverns (within the Ry`Gorr fort), the eastern entrance to Kael Drakkal, a canyon leading to the Great Divide, and a bridge to Iceclad Ocean. |

Kurns Tower watches over the pit area, and Kaesora lies nearby in ruins. The watery area (the Lake of Dismay) contains a couple bandit caves, along with the island home of The Tangrin. |
| firiona | Firiona Vie | RoK | Kunark outpost of all the "good" and "neutral" races around Norrath. Contains docks with a boat that goes to Butcherblock Mountains, along with vendors and a bank for all with good faction here. Counterpart to The Overthere. |
| frontiermtns | Frontier Mountains | RoK | Great, very rough range of mountains. Home to hill giants, Burynai, and goblins. Also houses the Mines of Nurga and Temple of Droga. Found in between The Overthere, Lake of Ill Omen, and the Dreadlands. |
| frozenshadow | Tower of Frozen Shadow | SoV | A great, dark tower found in the middle of Iceclad Ocean. There are seven floors, along with a basement (Tserrina's crypt); each floor contains a key, which must be procured in order to reach the next floor. |
| fungusgrove | Fungus Grove | SoL | A rather strange, cavernous zone between Twilight Sea and Echo Caverns. A handful of quest NPCs and vendors can be found in here, along with lots of mobs in their late 40s to early 60s. A Lucid Shard (Dat) drops in here. |
| gfaydark | Greater Faydark | Old | Large, low-level forest in western Faydwer. Contains Kelethin, and the entrances to Clan Crushbone and Felwithe. |

The Great Divide contains a PoK book, a Druid circle, a Wizard spire (one of the four Luclin spires), the entrance to Velketor's Labyrinth, the new entrance to the Plane of Mischief, the entrance to Thurgadin, and a canyon leading to the Eastern Wastes. |

In the southeast corner of the zone, there's a small Vah Shir outpost with a bank and several vendors. A river cuts through the zone from southwest to northeast. And to the northwest corner, there is a treetop village of Grimlings (similar to Kelethin); they also inhabit the tunnel leading into Acrylia Caverns, found nearby. |

| hollowshade | Hollowshade Moor | SoL | A wide, grassy area, filled with average hills, and even a large lake to the south, found between Shar Vahl and Grimling Forest. An entrance to Paludal Caverns can be found in the southwest corner of the zone. Not as popular as Shadeweaver's Thicket for a newbie zone, due to the sonic wolves that roam the zone. |
| iceclad | Iceclad Ocean | SoV | A great, expansive ocean on the eastern side of Velious. A boat travels between here and the Oasis of Marr, and a bridge leads between here and the Eastern Wastes. Contains the Tower of Frozen Shadow, and a handful of epic fights. |

The zone can be accessed via teleporter gems to/from Blackburrow and Surefall Glade. Toward the northwest corner, there is a tunnel leading to Nedaria's Landing, a similarly lush zone. |
